Web Image Collector can automatically log into numerous membership web sites. It supports several different methods that are used on the web for membership login. When you add your login name and password to the image collection settings, you can then access membership areas and download member access images.
Not all websites are accessible by Web Image Collector, some use very sophisticated login techniques that block web robots like Web Image Collector.
This is where you can specify a username and password to automatically login to membership based sites. This feature works with basic authentication, simple web based forms, and AVS membership sites.
The first step is to add your username and password or your AVS ID to Logn page. If Web Image Collector encounters any web page that requires a login, it will use the username and password or AVS ID that you have supplied. Next, use the main URL of the membership web site as the starting point to download images from. This does not always have to be the membership login page, but if you have trouble try the login page URL.
If you find that no images are downloading, then Web Image Collector was not able to login to the secure section on the membership site. There is no guarantee that all sites are accessible, but if you have trouble and would like to report it to us, please visit our contact section.
